Soldier Field Tickets & Info

Soldier Field is located at 1410 Museum Campus Drive. The Bears opened the new stadium in fall of 2003. The Bears' first season at the old Soldier Field was in 1971, after spending 50 seasons at Wrigley Field. With a capacity of 61,500 Soldier Field now is NFL’s smallest venue. Soldier Field originally opened in 1924 as 45,000-seat stadium named Municipal Grant Park Stadium. The current design of the stadium, with the Greek columns left over from the old stadium, has prompted many fans to refer to the stadium as the "Spaceship on Soldier Field". Advice: Start every sentence with “Back in 1985” and you will fit right in.
