US Cellular Field Tickets & Info

U.S. Cellular Field is on the Southside of Chicago at 333 West 35th Street and is the home of the Chicago White Sox. The park opened for the 1991 season, after the White Sox had spent 81 years at old Comiskey Park. The new park, completed at a cost of $167 million, also opened with the Comiskey Park name, but was renamed U.S. Cellular Field in 2003. The stadium is just to the west of the Dan Ryan Expressway in Chicago's Armour Square neighborhood. It was built directly across 35th Street from old Comiskey Park . Old Comiskey's home plate is a marble plaque next to U.S. Cellular Field and the foul lines are painted in the parking lot. Current capacity for US Cellular field is 47,098. Advice: Fireworks and organist are great traditions, but not a good neighborhood to hang out in before or after a game.
